Each student in the Biological Engineering (BE) program is assigned a faculty adviser based on the student's career interest.

The adviser helps the student make career choices and design the program of study according to the student's career goals. Based results of surveys and interviews, the BE students are among the most satisfied with the quality of teaching and advising.

BE faculty have a wide range of expertise. Many are internationally recognized researchers in their fields and have won numerous teaching and research awards.
